Golf plays a big part in my life. I took this photograph of our middle son teeing off very early one morning. This particular course is in South Carolina and the setting is so peaceful. I wanted to create a painting of morning peace at daybreak both in the setting and the golfer.
The under painting plays a key role in this piece. It helps create the atmospheric quality I felt and saw when I captured the photograph. How my paintings make the viewer feel is most important to me. I hope I have managed to capture your attention and imagination with the light sky and have drawn you in to see what the painting is all about.
