Couldn't resist these beautiful sunflowers. I am always experimenting with the effect of 'real' colors over my under painting: cooler versus warmer and what it does to the finished 'feeling' ' of the painting. As I worked on this piece my eye was drawn to the unplanned vibrancy of the blue against the yellow and orange. Hence the title of the piece.
