This was based on photos I took during a walk in my neighborhood in the early Spring. These flowers caught my attention as they were blooming next an old oak tree. The new blooms of 2021 against the old leaves of 2020 felt like a new beginning. Even the new grass growing over the old grass felt like what we were all looking for this Spring… hope. Furthermore, I also loved the different textures of nature, the soft petals, the crinkle of old leaves, tender grass and the bard of the tree.
