AUTUMNA - the end is near
With the fourth picture of the series "Autumna" I make a step that cannot be seen.
It is the only picture that is not based on a reference image, but has sprung solely from my imagination. Here I have brought together in one picture all the fruits that I enjoyed painting the most.
The grapes and plums I discovered on "Abundantia", the currants when painting "Passion", the apples were my great discovery from the beginning when painting "Epiphania" and the rose hips I have even earlier dedicated a small series.
The pomegranate is also an old favorite friend, which I just gave a new appearance in this painting.
With this picture the small series feels finished. And not only the series concludes here, but also the annual is finished. In total, I have worked on all 4 images pretty much a year.
This year, dedicated mostly to aesthetics and perfecting my technique, has brought me further in my artistic definition. Food as my skin theme has emerged and made me want to delve further into it.
It is an exuberant beginning and makes myself curious to continue.
