Taken from a photo I took back in 2004 of the “tear down” house my friend was selling on the Balboa Peninsula for $1.1 million dollars. He loved the house so I took a bunch of photos for him to remember his beloved family home; this one inspired this painting. If he had sold it today it would probably have been titled a $3-million-dollar view.
