This work is a pastel painting of an northeast coast Florida marsh and one of its captivating sunsets. I used nupastels and Terry Ludwig darks with an alcohol wash for the underpainting and then sought to capture the striking colors and contrasts with a combination of Richesons, Mount Visions, Schmincke, and Sennelier with a few accents from a mini set of Roche vivid.
