I was inspired to create this painting after seeing Tom Brown’s CLAIR DE LUNE, a beautiful landscape nocturne in blues and greens. Selecting a limited palette of blues and greens only, I painted this on heavy, acid free black paper using Blue Earth, Terry Ludwig, Sennelier, Unison, and Nupastel. The composition is inspired by a building and tree I can see from my bedroom window. The fields and paths are from summers in Maine as a child.
